Due to continued growth at our clients' site in the Hillington area of Glasgow, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join the existing team. Ideally someone with around 10 years' experience in an engineering/manufacturing type industry.

Our client offer a comprehensive range of services to their customers such as light to heavy fabrication, on-site services, CAD Designs and Bespoke Designs.

The role will include the following duties:

* Fabricating and welding on a wide range of items
* Welding all parts to drawing requirements and specifications
* Fabrication of basic pieces
* Conducting and documenting Pre-use Daily Safety checks
* All work to be processed in accordance with the procedures listed in the Company's Quality Manual and you must abide at all times with the Company's Health & Safety Policy.
* Ensure own and other health & safety at all time
* Maintaining the cleanliness of the work area, and other general duties as directed / required.

Qualifications, experience and skills required:

* Minimum NQ and welding required
* Hands on experience of fabrication & production.
* Ability to work to strict deadlines.
* Able to make decisions and take responsibility.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Good communication skills for on-site service.

Suitable candidates will have previous experience of welding within an industrial environment, be familiar with types of weld defects and their causes and be able to read drawings and interpret weld diagrams.
Candidates should also be comfortable working in a heavy manufacturing or engineering environment and be looking to settle in long term work.
