Orion Group are seeking Equipment Engineers to work with our Multinational Medical Device client in Northen Scotland.

The Equipment Engineer will be involved in supporting equipment project delivery for production equipment.

Sample of Duties:

  • Lead planning of equipment introduction
  • Lead assembly, commissioning and testing of production equipment
  • Equipment fault-finding
  • Create documentation relating to fault recovery and preventative maintenance
  • Generation of test cases
  • Provide training on equipment to third parties
  • Optimising systems to improve up time and yield

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Project Management knowhow
  • Electrical/mechanical/pneumatic system knowledge
  • Knowledge of PLC/microprocessor or computer controller production equipment
  • Demonstration of sound methodology in fault finding techniques
  • Practial hands on person

These are 7 month contract roles initially.
