The Orion Group are currently seeking a Senior Equipment Engineer to work with our multinational pharmaceutical client in Dublin.

The role is an initial 12 month contract and is responsible for the development and implementation of new equipment and manufacturing processes.


  • Equipment Engineer for new Projects
  • Defining and documenting operations practices
  • Implementing change on the manufacturing floor
  • Leading risk assessments and gap assessments for new processes, new equipment, and modified equipment
  • Development and implementation of maintenance programs associated with the introduction of new equipment
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting equipment issues during start-up and qualification
  • Continuous improvement programs for equipment reliability and availability


  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical) or Relevant Experience
  • 3+ years engineering experience in a pharmaceutical environment
  • Demonstrated experience in a GDP compliant environment (nice to have - not essential)
  • Previous experience with Formulation, and Fill/Finish (nice to have - not essential)
  • Experience in cGMP production environment (nice to have - not essential)
