Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Regulatory Specialist to join our team. The position will be based in Houston, TX (77079). In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

This project is a 2-year long contract and will be focused on a deep water project. Your responsibilities will include the following tasks:

Primary Scope:

- Process ~300 independent 3rd party submittals to BSEE required for this project

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Previous experience with environmental regulatory compliance
  • Familiarity with Deepwater Projects organization is preferred
  • Experience supporting GoM (Gulf of Mexico) operators for environmental submittals is a plus


Job Tasks:

1. Individual I3P Reports Ready for Submission:

  • Download individual reports from ASSAI
  • Save individual reports into respective Assemblies folders on GOM RA SharePoint
  • Update the Tracking Dashboard (RCT List) with received individual reports [Estimated time: 2.5 hours per report]


2. Individual I3P Reports in Packages (1A-1G) Submission:

  • Prepare a cover letter for each I3P Package to be submitted
  • Upload individual reports onto TIMS Web for each package, filling out required TIMS Web fields
  • Update the tracking Dashboard with submission dates
  • Inform the Project Team and relevant authorities of submitted packages [Estimated time: 3.5 hours per report]


3. Individual Reports for Review/RFIs Download + Responses Resubmission:

  • Download review letters and/or RFIs from TIMS Web
  • File approval letters and/or RFIs onto GoM RA SharePoint
  • Distribute approval letters and/or RFIs to the Project Team
  • Update the Tracking Dashboard (RCT List) with received review letters and/or RFIs
  • Receive RFI responses from the Project Team
  • File RFI Responses onto GOM RA SharePoint
  • Upload RFI Responses onto TIMS Web
  • Update the tracking Dashboard (RCT List) with submitted responses
  • Download review letters from TIMS Web
  • File approval letters and/or RFIs onto GOM RA SharePoint
  • Distribute approval letters and/or RFIs to the Project Team
  • Update the Tracking Dashboard (RCT List)
