Are you an experienced Environmental Coordinator with knowledge of the entire Oil & Gas lifecycle? If so, this could be the perfect position for you.

My client are an international Oil & Gas operating company with on and offshore assets. They now seek a talented individual in their office in Southern Netherlands to join on a permanent basis and develop their career. You will work on exciting projects and report directly into the Director of HSEQ. As a speaker of English & Dutch (fluent) you will be a confident and open communicator, able to manage a wide range of Environmental tasks.


Key Reponsibilities

  • Preparation of Internal and External Environmental Reports
  • Advice the organization on adopting environment friendly systems and participate in environment protection activities
  • Maintaining the Environmental Stewardship Process as part of the Business Excellence Management System
  • Preparation of permit applications and develop, maintain, conduct, monitor and review Environmental Impact Assessments
  • Maintain, report and monitor the EU ETS III requirements. Including facilitation of regular verification audit
  • Ensure and maintain compliance to the Environmental standard ISO 14001 Requirements within the Organization
  • Support the Operations, Projects and Drilling Departments as well as Company Management on Environmental Issues
  • Conduct and coordinate Environmental Inspections and Audits
  • Represent the HSEQ department in Technical Environmental reviews (iHAZID, HAZOP) and in NOGEPA's Environmental workgroup

About You

  • 5 to 10 years relevant experience preferably in the offshore Oil & Gas industry
  • Experience with defining environmental procedures in conjunction with all concerned Departments
  • Experience with dealing with governmental bodies in relation with environmental permits applications
  • Experience with identifying relevant environmental-related training needs and delivering training
  • Experience with writing technical environmental reports
  • Fluent Dutch & English language skills
