Job Title: Engineering Technician I

Duties: Brief Job Posting Description:

Provide project assurance services for all major development projects. Plan and execute activities for the Major Projects' organization.

Duties:

Works with all major development projects to ensure they are utilizing and following the Asset Management System (AMS).

Maintains the project's Assurance Register. Ensure necessary assurance activities are performed, documented, and action items are followed through.

Updates and publishes projects' monthly observations logs and charts.

Coordinates pre-sanction health checks to assess projects' preparedness for sanction.

Coordinates projects' health checks from planning, execution, to reporting.

Maintains the AMS self-assessment tool for projects to measure progress against AMS.

Maintains and regularly updates the Major Projects Assurance guidance documents, including the AMS Roadmap, AMS Guideline, Project Assurance Activities Guideline, and Project Health Check Process.

Prepare various presentations as needed.

Plan and execute activities for the Major Projects' organization & coordinate and facilitate town halls and all department activities (team meetings, community services, team building events, etc.)

Skills:

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Normal office environment with occasional travel to field, offsite meetings, trainings, etc. 90% of time spent working on PC.

Typically requires 2 years of oil and gas experience

College degree + 1 year of oil and gas experience.
