Job position : Electrical Engineer

Report line: Electrical Superintendent/Center, Electrical Section Chief/Deputy

Contract Duration: Perm

Objective(Purpose of Position)

To achieve production target under company's guidance on safety and quality through assisting Center Electrical Section Chief to maintain the electrical equipment to improve the reliability and availability of electrical equipments including but not limited to switchgears, substations, overhead transmission lines, transformers, motors and living quarters to minimize the breakdown time and production loss.

Responsibilities,

Lead electrical maintenance team to achieve HSE targets.

Lead electrical maintenance team to achieve production targets.

Comply with strategy and actions which encourage and produce a safe working environment of all staff which reduces the impact to the environment.

Direct all aspects of maintenance work on electrical system/equipment in a safe and timely manner.

Assist superintendent and section chief to collect spare parts requirements to make sure reasonable sufficient spare parts are available.

Supply technical support on electrical modification engineering, and audit engineering on new projects to meet applicable government, company and industry regulations and standards.

Witness test the proving and commissioning procedures of final installation.

Position Requirement

Electrical bachelor degree or above of university.

8 years of electrical maintenance working experience. 5 years of working experience as electrical maintenance engineer in petroleum and petrochemical industries.

Speak and write proficient English. Be able to spead Arabic language.

Be Skillful in the operation of all kinds of MICROSOFT office software and AutoCAD.

Strong HSE hazards/risks recognition and management ability.

Be familiar with oil and gas production related to electrical equipment.

Be familiar with international electrical code and standard.

Be familiar with electrical measurement, safety and maintenance tools.

Be familiar with power transmission & distribution system, power grid operation, protection relay, transformer, switchgear, VFD, lightning and grounding, UPS, motor, HVAC, lighting, etc.
