Our client are looking for an Electrical Commissioning Lead to be based in Reading on a contract basis. THIS ROLE IS INSIDE IR35 SCOPE.

Candidates working on the site must hold SC clearance as a minimum, therefore applicants must possess this level of clearance prior to appointment.

  • Operating in a nuclear environment that demands a meticulous focus on quality and safety and in accordance with project and company governance.
  • Forward thinking approach with a can do attitude.
  • Plan and arrange commissioning activities in accordance with the master programme.
  • Take ownership of site commissioning activities.
  • Produce and gain client acceptance of Commissioning Procedure documents
  • Witness and close out commissioning activities through to gaining client acceptance
  • Liaise with the project managers representatives
  • Liaise with specialist commissioning contractors
  • Write and maintain Safe Systems of Work including risk assessments.
  • Undertake pre commissioning system checks and produce reports as needed.
  • Attend meetings as needed.
  • Reporting to the commissioning manager
  • Experience of completions systems is beneficial. Reservations and observations to be closed out where applicable.
  • Report progress to the commissioning manager
