Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Electrical & Instrument Engineer, based in Aberdeenshire.

Responsibilities will include:
Provide support to offshore installations for all electrical high and low voltage maintenance requirements.
Providing technical support with regard to the repair and maintenance of installation equipment.
Make cost effective decisions with regard to the repair and maintenance of installation equipment.
Review planned maintenance routines to ensure equipment is maintained correctly whilst making most effective use of work force.
Determine spares requirement for items of equipment.
Raise modification requests, and, reviewing technical content of modification requests raised by offshore.
Raise contract service orders (technical work scope) for vendors attending offshore.
Review technical content of maintenance frame agreements.
Assess and issue authorisation certificates to offshore electrical personnel.
Work in accordance with agreed performance standards, targets and goals.
Actively contributes towards continuous improvement initiatives.
Any other duties as may be required

Qualifications & Experience
BSc in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering or equivalent
Chartered/Incorporated Engineer - preferred
Computer literacy for discipline calculations and document processing.
Affinity with technical matters and in-depth analysis of technical problems.
Knowledge of high voltage.
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
Experience with commissioning of electrical systems.
Awareness of the safety culture in Oil & Gas industry.
Willingness to travel (occasional visits to offshore facilities of 5 - 7 days).
Valid survival certificate and offshore medical (plus any other industry standard pre-requisites to travel offshore)
Maximo experience is preferred
