EHS Administrator

12-month initial contract/ temp to permanent

M-F 40hrs/week - possible OT

$20/HR with health insurance provided

Orion Group is now hiring a EHS Administrator to work onsite for our multinational pharmaceutical company in Worcester, MA.

Once settled in and understands the position there is flexibility to work remotely on a regular basis.

EHS Administrator Responsibilities:

Provides general administrative support for the IME EHS team and coordinates and maintains departmental files, databases and spreadsheets, as assigned, in compliance with corporate and government safety regulations.

EHS Administrator-Day to day tasks include the following:

  • Training Administration (Requests, Instructor Led Training Scheduling and Compliance Wire Admin for New employee assignments)
  • Purchasing support, Inventory of Spill Items, Safety Items
  • EHS Signage and Visual Aid support (updates, including rendering to PDF Files, revision checks for policy-based signage and maps posted in the building)
  • E-Achieve Action Plan Management (Date tracking, Item Completion, Reminders to owners) and updates to the CAPA Log Spreadsheet
  • Metrics Compilation (Inspection Forms/Tracking/Data Entry for completed EHS Inspections (Contractor, Job Site, Area housekeeping Inspections etc.)
  • E-Achieve and CAPA Dashboard Access Requests for new users
  • Communication of Inspection and STOP Observation Reminders, sitewide communication of EHS Alerts, Safety Events (PPE Events)
  • Maximo Work Order creation for E-achieve Entries
  • Managing Spreadsheets/Membership of EHS Teams (ZBA, First Responders, Spill Team etc.)
  • Audit/meeting conference room scheduling and support

EHS Administrator Required Skills:

  • Uses and understands Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Visio and other business-specific software, including Compliance Wire EAchieve and Maximo

Years of experience/education and/or certifications required:

  • AS/BA Degree

EHS Administrator Top 3-5 requirements:

  • Excel
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Visio
  • Industrial Manufacturing background

EHS Administrator Preferred skills, requirements, experience, education, or certification (not required):

  • Previous Environmental Health and Safety experience
  • Purchasing/supply chain support
  • Training/Administration (organizing trainings, etc).
  • Metrics compilation/inspections
  • Pharma (preferred)
  • Veteran status
