Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Drilling Permit Coordinator, based Offshore

Responsibilities will include:
Actively participate in all relevant daily meetings, incl. OIM meeting.
Authorises, or if the situation warrants, suspends any job activity in the platform sector where he/she is responsible.
Compliance with Company SIMOPS procedure as delegated by the OIM through the ISSOW system.
Shall be fully aware of all Drilling operating Instructions / Operating Change Records / Platform Directives / Standing Instructions.
Maintain general awareness of all CMS procedures and fully conversant with those applicable to the ISSOW system.
Ensure relevant WCC are prepared and ready for WCC co-ordination / approval meetings.
Manage status of Drilling / Well Intervention WCC to ensure they are submitted, revalidated (where required) and closed in a timely manner.
Witness work in "Well Operations Area" and assist Drilling & Completion Supervisor in checking for compliance with SIMOPS procedures.
Audit Isolations and Work permits

Qualifications & Experience:
Offshore certification
Knowledge of offshore Drilling, Well Completion and Intervention operations
Basic knowledge of fluid and gas mechanics and hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic controls should be complemented by significant relevant experience in offshore operations
Good knowledge of platform systems, processes and operating parameters
Ability to read and understand P & ID drawings
UK Key HSE regulations
Well and Environmental Safety
Knowledge of the Permit to Work System (ISSOW)
ISSoW trained level 3
