Job description

Rotational opportunity within the Tilenga (Upstream) Drilling team, assistance is required to DC Supervisor Services. Likely start date Q1 2023.

Activities
The job holder is responsible during the night for:
* Ensuring that Company and Contractor HSE standards are fully respected and known by all.
* The accomplishment of the operations, in compliance with Company rules, safety and environmental protection referential.
* Participate in incident, accident and anomaly investigations and analyses, HSE studies, and risk assessments, to promote safe execution of operations.
* Covering DCSSV during the night shift by supervising night operations and reporting to the DCSSV if any deviation.
* Reviewing operations programs, aiding in the preparation of work instructions, and supervising to ensure the implementation of each operational program
* Overseeing the daily reporting in Wellview, preparing the Daily Drilling Report and daily cost tracking each morning
* The implementation of performance action plans

Context and environment

A Green Field Project, the Tilenga development is to be carried out in a remote location in UGANDA near Albert lake with particularly sensitive environmental conditions.
A challenging onshore project; heavy and waxy oils produced from 31 drilling pads, (with some of them located in a national park) and treated in a Production Center of 200,000bopd oil capacity and 650,000 bld of water treatment capacity. Reservoir pressure maintenance is ensured either by water injection or by polymer water injection depending on the reservoirs characteristics. The project also includes an extended interconnecting network with temperature preservation.
Multicultural environment: Contractors are anticipated to be located in various parts of the world. Ugandan rules and regulations, administrative requirements and technical authorizations as well as International codes for onshore plant will apply.

Accountabilities

* As a DCSV, you will be there to ensure continuity of the supervision at the rig during night operations. You will be one who represents the operator's authority during the night shifts at the rig.

Qualifications/Experience required:
* MSc or BSc
* Up to date with necessary HSE trainings and hold valid IWCF certificate.
* Advanced user of Wellview and Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook) software
* Fluent in English
* A minimum 3 years of experience in Oil and Gas and especially in Operator Drilling and Completions activities.
