Admin Assistant - Document Controller/ Archivist

Contract Length - 12-month contract

Location - Runcorn UK

We at Orion Group are currently recruiting a Document Controller/ Archivist on behalf of one of our Multinational Pharmaceutical Clients to work on an initial 12-month contract.

  • This role requires a person with high attention to detail and a self-driven approach
  • Admin experience is required
  • Computer literate
  • Highly organised
  • Experience working in a Pharmaceutical/ Regulated Industry desirable

The responsibilities of the Document Controller/ Archivist role are:

  • Implementation and management of the process of documentation marshalling and archiving
  • Control of Site archive area
  • Management of the interim storage of documents
  • Organisation of documents and communication with the archiving supplier for transit to long term storage
  • Ordering of supplies for archiving activities
  • Oversight and governance for boxes recalled to site and monitoring timely returns to External Storage Facility
  • Proposed improvements to ways of working/process.
