Our client, an oil & gas operating company are recruiting for a Document Controller to be based out of their office in the Hague, The Netherlands.

Key responsibilities:

. Plan, coordinate and prioritize activities independently such as updating, managing and importing technical documentation within the operations department;
. Manage drawing numbers and indexes, and distribute, track and control documents and drawings for general use, maintenance activities and construction projects;
. Correct individual drawings in close contact with the responsible disciplines;
. Facilitate the outsourcing of drawings for as built to external contractors when required;
. Import current and updated drawings in the Document Management System: (Sharepoint);
. Communicate with the Information Management group regularly to ensure the Document Management System Structure will be maintained according to the guidelines of information management Procedures;
. Assist the operations team in retrieving engineering documents and drawings;
. Manage current hardcopy archives with drawings and technical documentation for various disciplines;
. Plan, coordinate and prioritize activities independently like updating, managing and importing current vendor documentation, digitizing existing documentation.

Required skills and experience:


. Strong experience in the Oil and Gas or process Industry, in a multi-disciplinary environment.
. Ability to communicate with other disciplines and other levels within the organization;
. Accurate, consistent and detail oriented;
. Ability to work to agreed plan and able to prioritize own tasks;
. Knowledge of Document Management Systems and technical applications as AutoCAD, InTools & E-plan;
. Proficient with Microsoft office applications;
