Our Client currently have a vacancy for an experienced Document Controller to join their Major Projects Team based in Lossiemouth.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up the site filing system to record and maintain all project documentation
  • Preparing and maintaining a suitable Contract Drawing Matrix for the control and issue of Contract Drawings
  • Collating the Project Managers internal monthly reports
  • Preparing and issuing weekly plant and material returns
  • Controlling and maintaining the Health & Safety file
  • Preparing all necessary documentation for incorporation into the O&M Manuals at project completion
  • Inputting data into site waste management plans on a monthly basis
  • Document Coordination for all BIW, Conject drawings
  • Assisting when necessary the site secretarial staff with the site correspondence, filing, etc.
  • Reception cover as required

Experience/skills:

  • Significant experience in a similar role, ideally within the construction industry
  • Strong interpersonal, communications and organisation skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise work load effectively and meet deadlines
  • Previous experience of document management/archiving systems and quality control
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Approachable and helpful by nature
  • Professional telephone manner and email etiquette
  • Excellent attention to detail

Qualifications:

  • Good level of education including English, Maths and Administration

This is a contract role with negotiable rates of pay.
