Our client is a market leader in supply of electricity and gas and other energy-related services.

An existing opportunity has to come to market for an experienced Digital UX Designer to join an established and successful team based in Reading.

Day to day here's what you can expect;

Reporting into the Head of UX, you will be accountable for:

  • Integrating concepts, developing business requirements and sourcing technical enablers into the design process.
  • This role plays a pivotal part within the UX & Design team as you will be expected to work closely with wider teams throughout the business such as Analytics and development teams to gain customer insight so that we can develop intuitive and compelling digital design and bring it to life.
  • You will be involved in all elements of the development lifecycle from start to finish through analysis, design and implementation, driving processes and creating concept sketches, wireframes, mockups and working prototypes in order to provide solutions and guide development.

Skills & Experience Required;

  • In depth knowledge and understanding of all aspects of UX design including customer personas, user journeys, interface design, wireframes and prototype development
  • Proficiency in standard industry tools such as Adobe Creative Suit, Sketch, and InvisionApp is essential.
  • Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills, you are able to create and effectively manage relationships both internally and externally on a variety of different levels.


  • Basic salary - c£30,000 - c£40,000 (depending on experience) + excellent benefits package
