Job description

We have a new opportunity for a Digital Officer focusing on AVEVA Products. The position will be based in Doha on a contract basis.

  • Ensure the availability and consistency of digital initiatives, process and management plan within projects division and lead this digital process system through the projects digital journey.
  • Ensure proper execution of integrated digital process management across projects division including solution architecture, implementation planning, delivery, management, and support in order to meet MP digital requirements.
  • Focal point for all digital execution strategy within division.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

· Qualification: degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology

· Good level of technical understanding of all relevant industry digitalization process especially in Oil & Gas industry.

· Previous experience with execution of digital processes within project environment

· Through understanding of data modeling, data architecture principals and database management systems

· Previous working experience with AVEVA Products including AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA Diagram, AVEVA Instrument and Electrical and etc,

· Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and networking, and programming languages

· Good knowledge of industry codes, standards and legislations on SHE aspect,

· Familiar with Oil & gas project organizations

· Language: fluent English,

· Strong leadership skills and good communication skills,

· Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
