Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Decommissioning Project Engineer based in Aberdeen

Key responsibilities include:
Be a safety leader in support of delivering goal zero
Produce project management deliverables and manage the execution of subsea decommissioning activities, including flushing and disconnect and integration with subsea well P&A
Assist with the selection and management of contractors
Management of interfaces between Shell project team, operations, key contractors, port authority and stakeholders
Strive to comply with Shells 8 project principles
Ensure there is a strong project control framework in place, including C&P, Project Services, HSSE etc.
Drive efficient execution
Drive cost reduction

Skills/Experience:
Experienced Project Engineer with strong project management and technical skills.
North Sea offshore experience with subsea fields
Performance focus - commercial mind-set, agility and a focus on delivery/performance
Contract management experience
Cost leadership - Role models and promoters of spend it like your own
Ability to take responsibility in an empowered organisation - taking charge and learn by doing
Pro-active in delegation - promoting frontline taking-charge and making-decisions and supporting them
Integration - willing to lead, integrate across functions and problem solve
Innovation / Learning mindset - doing things differently (simplified, efficient worked practices) and/or new technology application [NB not reinventing wheels!!]
Demonstrable stakeholder management skills both internally and externally - ability to learn from and influence
Qualifications: Degree/Diploma or equivalent.
