Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Decommissioning Engineer (Wells), based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities will include:
Implement safe, environmentally sound and efficient well operations.
Ensure regulatory and corporate/UK standard conformance in all well operations.
Ensure that required approvals are obtained prior to initiation of any activity and adhered to
Develop realistic cost estimates which reflect an appropriate level of contingency
Conduct risk assessments / identify mitigation plans
Recommend implementation of new techniques and practices.
Follow up on significant problems & make recommendations for improvement.
Provide technical assistance & operational analysis to offshore personnel.
Track and analyse operational performance.
Assist the Cost Analyst in tracking costs, etc.
Actively monitor cost performance
Monitor daily Wellview input to ensure data integrity.
Provide project status reports for management.

Expert knowledge of P&A and drilling, techniques and operations
Experience in well engineering, planning & construction
Breadth of technical experience across range of well disciplines - drilling, completions, interventions, integrity, production etc

Relevant honours engineering degree, or equivalent
