Our Operator client is seeking an experienced Data Specialist for an immediate start 12 month contract with potential for renewal.

You will have a proven background in Data and Information Management Systems, particularly around Data Integrity.

The successful candidate will be engaged on a PAYE basis. Previous oil & gas operator experience desired.

Responsibilities will include:
Create and maintain engineering tags in accordance with Company Tag Management procedures
Collect engineering tag attribute data through ongoing modifications, projects and data improvement initiatives in accordance with defined quality standards
Maintain the engineering tag class library in accordance with company requirements
Perform user acceptance testing of all IT systems implemented to support the overall Technical Data information systems environment
Create and maintain user documentation and training material for information systems implemented to support the overall Technical Data environment
Provide end user support, guidance and training in the use of Technical Data information systems
Implement and maintain accurate data driven engineering registers within operations
Integrate stand-alone data sources

Qualifications & Experience
Degree qualified preferred or suitable experience considered. Degree preference either Information Management, Computer Science or an Engineering discipline
Previous Information Management experience with a proven track record in Oil & Gas projects
Comprehensive knowledge of current Information Management technologies, specifications and processes
Strong communication, networking, collaboration and well-developed team-working skills
Experience leading and implementing change utilising management of change processes
Highly developed influencing and interpersonal skills
Strong focus on data integrity to support ongoing projects, modifications, maintenance and operations
Clear understanding of existing procedures, standards and systems and can drive change to further improve the 'data driven' technical data environment
Member of a relevant professional body, e.g. DAMA International
