Job Purpose


My client is on a journey to transform fuels pricing globally --- materially investing in digital, data, and people to create a differentiated capability. Core to this strategy is the development of an internal platform with advanced pricing algorithms composed that will enable their analysts to make faster, better, and more integrated pricing decisions.

This role will lead the development and delivery of pricing products globally across the Midstream business. It will be part of the Global integrated pricing programme (GIPP) Advanced Analytics Product Delivery team and is responsible for driving value to the Global Pricing business. Leveraging digital platforms, advanced analytics, and agile methodologies will ensure the delivery of best-in-class customer experience.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborating with global stakeholders delivering a roadmap of data science and analytics products to unlock incredible value for the global pricing communities
  • In an agile and empowered environment be the key interface across commercial and Data Science teams leading the delivery of business centric products and solutions into the Midstream pricing teams
  • Lead the Data Science product across its lifecycle including inception, development, operation, and enhancement
  • Translator of business and user needs into simplified and well-defined problem statements, communicating with non-functional experts, and ensure delivery in-line with the needs
  • Work closely with internal pricing product management to ensure outstanding user experience

Essential Experience

  • 2+ years' as a Product Owner/Product Manager
  • Delivery of E2E digital products using agile methodologies
  • Demonstration of delivery of business value through analytics and pricing models
  • Digital and data security processes

Desirable

  • Experience in Commodity Pricing
  • Experience in requirements analysis and use case prioritisation
  • Experience operating in a commercial environment
