Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Data Management Specialist, based in Aberdeen

Responsibilities will include:
Collect engineering tag attribute data through ongoing modifications, projects and data improvement initiatives in accordance with defined quality standards
Define and deliver ongoing data management improvements to further enhance the overall data driven Technical Data information systems environment
Perform user acceptance testing of all IT systems implemented to support the overall Technical Data information systems environment
Create and maintain user documentation and training material for all information systems implemented to support the overall Technical Data environment
Provide end user support, guidance and training in the use the overall Technical Data information systems environment
Implement and maintain accurate data driven engineering registers within operations
Integrate stand-alone data sources to enable improved operational decision support
Further develop the data driven Technical Data environment

Degree qualified preferred or suitable experience considered. Degree preference either Information Management, Computer Science or an Engineering discipline
Member of a relevant professional body, e.g. DAMA International

Previous Information management experience with a proven track record in Oil & Gas projects
Comprehensive knowledge of current information management technologies, specifications and processes
Strong communication, networking, collaboration and well-developed team-working skills
Experience leading and implementing change utilising management of change processes
Highly developed influencing and interpersonal skills
