We are seeking an experienced DATA ANALYST for an immediate 6 - 12 month contract with our major E&P Operator Client.


Our client is looking for an individual with an excellent understanding of how data can be used effectively in a business and be able to come up with technical solutions to assist in how data is viewed and utilised. As well as reacting to request from users the role would also suit someone who is able to offer potential improvements to the system.

Experience of Spotfire and PowerBI highly desirable, and a working knowledge of Scrum/Agile methodologies.

Role is expected to start end of June or around Mid July 2019

The following skills are required:
Be able to build trusted business relationships; working closely with the business to acquire domain knowledge and turn data into critical information and knowledge that enables sound organizational decisions. Has affinity with capturing business requirements from stakeholders (e.g. Product Owner) and converting them into more detailed PBI/user stories including the acceptance criteria.
Responsible for reviewing and managing the Information and Data Risks Proven experience and track-record of delivering results using Agile and Lean practices, within projects and ideally in different organisations.
Has a deep and broad knowledge of project delivery methods used at Shell, particularly Agile methods. (EDGE/Scrum)
Knowledge of the Upstream business or maintenance processes in a related area.
Highly analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferably worked with agile/scrum tools like VSTS
Experience using Spotfire, Power BI and Alyteryx.
Enthusiastic, energetic, creative and data driven
Team player, works effectively in global/virtual environment and communicates well with all levels of organization (suppliers, business and IT)
