An excellent opportunity exists with this exclusive client of the Orion group who are looking for a vastly experienced and commercial focused credit controller. Our client, a pioneer in the FMCG world have seen significant site growth both in turnover and profitability. As a result of some recent internal changes they are looking for an experienced Credit controller or Senior Credit controller to join the team.

You will report to the Operations Finance Manager and the main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing sales ledger/ aged debtors list for overdue accounts
  • Thoughtfully chasing debt from existing and new customers
  • Answering customer queries regarding disputed invoices
  • Issue credit notes where applicable and communicate accordingly
  • Record and maintain accurate and detailed records
  • Lead and contribute towards a positive internal and external customer experience
  • Build and strengthen relations with internal and external customers
  • Highlight ideas for continuous process improvement
  • Adhoc duties as requested

To be considered for this position you will have a Minimum of 3-5 year's experience within a Credit Control environment. You will also have experience in dealing with senior management and high priority clients. There is a need for the individual to have strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Previous experience of resolving complex queries in a timely and appropriate fashion will be demonstrable as will query resolution and ledger management.
