919543 - Craft Technicians

We are currently looking to recruit Craft Technicians for a contract position in the North of Scotland.

The main purpose of the role is to carry out maintenance activities

Duties will include:

  • Carry out planned mainteance activities and defect rectification efficiently
  • Preparing the work areas for mainteance of plant, systems or components and reinstate once finished
  • Diagnose faults in plants, systems and components using diagnostics techniques
  • Identify and rectify routine mainteance problems
  • Conduct safe and effective hand over of plant and equipment to others and accept and confirm responsibility for the control of the plant and equipment within the work area isolation boundary
  • Identify obsolescence and end of life issues
  • Seek technical support for problems from suppliers/ manufacturers and internally
  • Produce job reports on work carried out, recommendations, solutions, PMI amendment details and condition assessments
  • Carry out operational monitoring
  • Successful candidate should have completed apprenticeship in relevant discipline and hold an HNC in Engineering or equivalent

This is a contract position

The rate for this position is negotiable
