Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of CP Lead, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* The position will be covering the subsea scope of the project.
* In addition, it is expected that the candidate will be a focal point for the CP portion of the Project to Asset work, including European Transit Yard preparations and execution.

Experience & Qualifications:
* An experienced CP professional who is familiar with contracting roles on major capital projects.
* Able to work effectively in a multi-cultural / diverse environment.
* Can demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:
* Robust Oil and Gas Project Contracting and Procurement Experience, with demonstrable CP competence
* Demonstrable experience working with subsea contractors.
* Track record of successful Project delivery with Commercial acumen and skilled Post-award project Contract management.
* Development and execution of, Invitation to Tenders, analysis and negotiating and Executing project contracts, with strong knowledge of strategic, technical, legal, finance, tax and commercial issues in contract.
* Interpersonal skill and effective communications at all levels of management both internally and externally and able to cope with complexity and uncertainty.
* Proven track record to interact seamlessly and effectively with all levels of management
* Collaborates and integrates within CP and with business, enterprise first. Has effective influencing skills and can flex his/her style to audience whilst remaining a team player
* Experience in contracting / procurement in Oil & Gas company.
* Business or Engineering degree, or equivalent. Understanding of strategic, technical, legal, finance, taxation and commercial issues, able to cope with complexity and uncertainty.
* Professional certification (CIPS or ISM) is desirable
