Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Contracts Engineer on a contract basis. The position will be based in Paris, France for a minimum of 12 months. For further information about this position please apply.

Candidates must have at least 8 years recent relevant experience as a Contracts Engineer, ideally working directly for an Oil & Gas operator.

Candidates must already have the right to live and work in the European Union.

Spec:

The successful candidate's overall responsibility is supporting the Project in Contracts management during the FEED Update and Execution phases. The successful candidate is accountable for leading the contracts, procurement and expediting activities also adding the evaluation and negotiation of any contractor's claim; support the Lead Contracts & Procurement and Project Team in all matters relating to Contracts area and shall contribute to delivery of the project in time, in budget and in accordance with HSE standards.

Qualifications / Experience

- Engineering/Quantity Surveying qualification, Business Administration, Law or equivalent professional qualification.
- Languages: English and French (not mandatory)
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 8 years as Contracts Engineer (preferably in Oil/Gas Industry).
- Experience in contract formulation activities, systems and processes coupled with a superior working knowledge of engineering, construction and service delivery practices operating in Fabrication/Construction yards
