Job description


Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Contracts and Procurement Lead, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Management and development of the local C&P Team in Aberdeen
* Weekly reporting to the Department Head Contracts & Procurement
* All C&P related activities of the direct reports, ensuring sustainable achievement of company's vision and mission
* Full compliance with the Corporate Management System (CMS 2018)
* Capability of solving interdepartmental and personnel issues within companies' policy, standards and procedures
* Capability of solving C&P related issues between departments, operations and/or location
* Understanding of "purchase-to-pay" cycle and administration requirements
* Manage and/or organise Tender Boards and tender evaluations towards contract award recommendations
* Close liaison with operations personnel both onshore and offshore as well as other internal and external stakeholders
* You will report directly to the Department Head Contracts & Procurement

Experience & Qualifications:
* A strong and experienced C&P Lead with an excellent work ethic, professional outlook, strong contractual understanding, attention to detail and demonstrable commercial acumen.
* A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business Management, Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
* Demonstrable experience in leading C&P teams within the offshore oil & gas industries
* Technical knowledge of offshore supplies and services, as well as offshore transport and logistics requirements
* A proactive approach to the role and be able to demonstrate added value at all times
* Excellent command of English, both verbally as well as in writing
* The willingness to travel
