International Energy organisation is seeking a Contracts Analyst for a 12 month interim position based in Uxbridge. The roles in situated in the Supply Chain Management department and reports to the Contracts Team Leader. Demonstrable experience in providing supply chain management support to Subsurface (Exploration and Developments), Business Services (HR, IS, IM, Economics & Planning) and stakeholders is essential.

The Contracts Analyst will:

* Provide proactive commercial and contract management services to relevant groups, ensuring that all work is completed in compliance with corporate standards whilst meeting all regional requirements

* Proactively manage assigned commercial contracts to ensure that the company is receiving the best value from its external supply relationships

* Contribute to the development and execution of the contracting strategy, in support of all contracting activities

* Provide advice and support to all levels of Company personnel on matters relating to contracts planning, strategy and performance management.

* Undertake all formal contracting activities relating to onshore/offshore service/work contracts including, assessment of internal and external demand, developing strategies, pre-qualifications and tender list development. Analysis of tenders, contract negotiations, preparation of contractual documentation and contract management plans.

* Provide comprehensive advice on commercial and business risk

* Manage a varied portfolio of contracts with different contractual issues and priorities

* Undertake post-award contract administration including drafting and processing of amendments, variations and obtaining internal approvals. Contribute to the process of continuous improvement in the contracting process, including the adoption and sharing of best practice

* Ensure a high quality of service is provided, that activities are completed to the highest professional and integrity standards and in accordance with company's contracting procedures/processes and business controls, whilst ensuring all decisions/commitments are recorded

* In conjunction with department manager's company representatives, monitor the performance of contractors and suppliers, developing highly positive and constructive relationships with key contacts, internally and externally and hold regular feedback meetings with these stakeholders


* Relevant experience within the oil and gas industry

* Solid understanding of supply chain market

* Full understanding of current UK/EU procurement legislation

* Highly developed facilitation and negotiation skills
