Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Contracts Advisor, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities will include:
Draft, review and negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients and suppliers for new and existing business to ensure they are qualified and executed in accordance with Company's contracting guidelines, procedures and strategies, in order to mitigate potential risks and liabilities.
Support key tendering and project activity as and when required.
Assist in the development of standard T&Cs, commercial processes and tools.
Support the coordination and optimisation of the global insurance program.
Participate in the delivery of training and awareness activities provided to the sales and marketing and business development professionals across the organisation.
Assist in the development and maintenance of the global Commercial database established within the business.
Assist the business in dispute resolution during project execution and close-out including the defense of Company's best interest on liquidated damages and warranty claims
As and when required to liaise with other functions and management at all levels, within and outside the region.
Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by line management within the time-frame specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements

Qualifications
Essential
Degree in Law or Business

Experience
Significant experience working within a similar role in an oil and gas service company.
Experience of working with international contracts.
Working knowledge of UK oil and gas industry contractual standards (LOGIC model contracts).
An understanding of the main liabilities and indemnities that are required to be included in contractor's contracts
Excellent communicator in English both, written and verbal.
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft packages - Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
