Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Contract Engineer - Offshore Wind on a contract basis. The position will be based in Paris for 7 months (2 years if FID validated). For further information about this position please apply.

The Contract Engineer is responsible for the administration of all the contracts placed during the FEED (mainly
FEED contract), the preparation and the coordination of all the call for tenders to be completed prior project FID
(EPCI CFTs, Wind turbine generator CFT...).
They will carry out its work in coordination with the client.
The Contract Engineer will also be involved in giving contract management support for other activities within Wind
program activities.


ACTIVITIES


1. Administration of all the contracts placed by the two wind pilots and support RD Power Wind other contracts
as required;
2. Preparation of all the documents related to CFT and contracts;
3. Define the CFT evaluation procedure and ensure it is applied;
4. Ensure that all tenders and contract activities within FOW pilots project are performed in accordance with the
rules, regulations and procedures;
5. Coordinate the CFT process and participate to the evaluation;
6. Lead the prequalification process for bidder list definition;
7. Negotiate contracts and prepare RTA;
8. Assist and advise the pilots leaders in matters concerning contract administration, including preparation
addendum, contract extension...
9. Assist and advise the pilots leaders in matters concerning Change Orders, Claims Dispute analysis and
negotiations;
10.Liaise with the client;
11.Anticipate potential issue and report to the pilot leaders with mitigations proposals;
12.Participate to the various project regular meetings;
13.Work closely with the pilots leaders.

- Starting date: July 2022
- Duration: 7 months
- Renewable: 2 years if FID validated
- Location: France (Paris area)
- Status: residential

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Qualification: university or regional college studies within engineering, commercial or law;
- Languages: fluency in English;
- Professional Experience: minimum 10 years in the oil & gas industry or equivalent incl. a significant experience
as contract engineer for a the client offshore project, significant contract
administration;
- Capable of handling the relevant IT tools (Ariba, Unisup, Office pack...).


OTHER OBSERVATIONS
Possibility to carry on in the project execution phase (EPC) requiring geographical mobility outside France
