Our EPC client are looking for a Contracts Administrator to work as part of a consortium at Hinton House in Warrington.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and assist with the administration of Projects.
  • Use of CEMAR for all contract documentation.
  • General understanding of terms and conditions.
  • Prepare contract briefs and revisions summarising contractual requirements and budgets.
  • Track authorisations and correspondence.
  • Track incoming submissions from Suppliers and checking that these are in line with Axiom Purchase Orders.
  • Track outgoing Axiom submissions, checking quality and accuracy of information.
  • Liaising with SL team to ensure documents are received, processing status and issuing of SEN in a timely manner (in line with the contract.)
  • Liaising and assisting Axiom team with the highlighting and resolving of any issues which have been communicated by SL.
  • Maintain detailed and organised files.
  • Assist with the preparation of contract change notices.
  • Assist with the monitoring of Supplier performance.
  • Assist in the creating and maintaining of audit files for each contract which will include original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules.
  • Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate Axiom personnel regarding contract status.
  • Assist in the closing activities for Projects as needed.
  • Track payments and deadlines.
  • Provide contract summaries and ensure contract execution in accordance with Axiom policies.

Qualifications required:

  • HND Qualified in Technical, Engineering or Project management related subject
  • Good understanding of commercial and contract administration
  • Proven and effective inter-personal and communication skills
  • Aspiration to become a Project Manager.

Accountabilities:

  • Deliver commercial management of design services in a safe manner to the specified functional criteria, goals, objectives and quality requirements.
  • Demonstrate value, minimising programme risks (threats) and maximising opportunities
  • Support and demonstrate commitment to the AXIOM / DSA mission, vision and core values
  • Support change through the DSA / SL and support the Step Change, PEDIP, Engineering Expectations and related initiatives
