Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Consultant Completion Engineer, based in Aberdeen

Responsibilities will include:
Design, planning and execution of cased and perforated completions, including tubing stress analysis and equipment qualification
Design, planning and execution of live well intervention including coiled tubing and snubbing
Ensure that the well delivery processes and controls are implemented for all CWI activities, thereby safeguarding the technical integrity of the Assets.
Ensure "Better-to-Best" processes and tools are adopted and embedded.
Manage and control the interfaces between CWI, Well Construction, Production and Development teams within the asset.
Deliver against CWI key performance indicators (KPI's).
Drive functional excellence for CWI, ensuring that local, regional and global learning are communicated and taken account of as appropriate.
Provide routine and emergency technical input and troubleshooting support for all well related activities, both in the office and at the well site as required.
Co-ordinate and manage logistics to ensure operations are conducted safely, on time and in accordance with execution programmes.
Supervise and ensure CWI programmes are executed safely and efficiently and that all company policies and procedures are fully adhered to.
Monitor offshore platform and MODU based CWI operations.
Ensure deviations from execution programmes are only conducted with the appropriate level of technical authorisation.
Ensure adherence to change control procedures in the event of programme amendments.
Ensure accurate reporting of all CWI activities into approved PTW/O reporting medium.

Knowledge & Experience
Have a Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics or a similar technical or scientific discipline.
Completion design - WellCat, tubing stress analysis experience preferred
Full flow gun system qualifications
Platform Well P&A using HWU or CT unit
Have significant years CWI experience
Have experience integrating technical and business activities on multi-discipline projects. The experience should include supervision of technical activities.
Maintain the minimum safety certification required to execute the job. (IWCF, VCA, survival, medical, H2S, permits etc).
