Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Completions Engineer, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities will include:
Provide risk evaluations for the planned operation/activity
Compile programmes and detailed procedures for installing the well equipment.
Ensure that the Detailed Operations Procedures are discussed in a net meeting between the office and the field before start of operation.
Ensure upcoming main focus points in the Detailed Operations Procedures are discussed in the daily Rig Status Meeting.
Update the office-field action/decision log during the operation.
Conduct Post Operations Meeting with the rig after end of operations (with service companies, Drilling Supervisor and drilling contractor).
Support the rig site team.
Evaluate and adhere to parameters from real-time data.
Participate in subsurface meetings and discussions as/if applicable.
Perform QC of all acquired data and update all relevant databases.

Education:
Technical education at Bachelor or Master's degree

Skills and Experience:
Solid knowledge in the completions discipline.
Solid practical completions experience.
Strong commitment towards HSE.
Knowledge of UK regulations relevant to drilling and well operations
Proficient user of EDM software: Wellplan & Wellcat.
Extensive relevant completions experience.
