Commissioning Engineer - Mechanical, Rosyth, To £22 per hour Ltd, initial 3 month contract

We are currently seeking a Multi-skilled Engineer for a commissioning project at Rosyth, the successful contractor will be tasked to undertake specialised commissioning activities on various systems, ensuring successful delivery to agreed performance targets. These tasks will require a mix of skills and knowledge in the systems commissioning field including Water, Fuel and Hydraulic systems and installations with the objective of total customer satisfaction.

Major Tasks:

  • Plan, control and deliver Mechanical commissioning activities on mechanical and fluid systems, and make an input as required to cross-functional delivery of systems, ensuring requirements are delivered to plan/budget.

  • Carry out investigations into operational problems or developments and develop and prepare solutions, individually or as a member of a team.

  • Participate fully in developing, maintaining and modifying commissioning processes and procedures in the system areas of responsibilities. Remain fully flexible in response to technical developments and operational need.

  • Make commissioning decisions within own sphere of responsibility and delegated authority.


Ideally either HNC/HND/SVQ/NVQ3 qualified or with relevant industry experience.

This role is an initial 3 month contract, paying £22 per hour Limited Company.

This role is commutable from Rosyth, Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy. Perth, Glenrothes, Edinburgh, Livingston, Bathgate, Linlithgow, Falkirk, Grangemouth.
