Our Role

Recently nominated for a number of industry awards and a recognised market leader in the provision of legal services for a FTSE 100 business, our in-house Legal team currently have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Solicitor to join them in supporting and advising our client's Telecoms division on a range of legal matters.

As a Commercial Solicitor, you will provide sound legal and commercial advice on all aspects of business transactions undertaken across the UK; providing proactive and practical options.

This will involve providing key legal advice to the sales and delivery teams on business opportunities advising on contentious matters, and on its regulatory and statutory obligations, which include contracts to support Enterprise's expansion into new areas.

Your Skills and Experience

A qualified solicitor with between 3 to 4 years PQE, you will assist the existing team to provide proactive and pragmatic legal advice on a range of legal, commercial and operational issues and ensure legal risks are understood and appropriately managed

This will involve dealing with a varied range of contracts and disputes in a timely manner and having a clear understanding of what is acceptable in the market. You must therefore have a proven track record of producing high quality and effective legal advice in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Strong negotiation, drafting, communication and interpersonal skills will be vital to your success as is the ability to work well on your own and within a team. As periodic travel between our offices throughout the UK is expected, a full UK driving licence is desirable.

Utilities/Infrastructure experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
