They are currently recruiting for the position of Commercial Operation Co-ordinator, based in Mumbai, India.

Job Description

  • Person will broadly be co-ordinating commercial activities related to daily terminal operations.
  • Accepting nominations / re-nominations from various customers as and when required.
  • Co-ordinate with Operations team and Commercial Manager for preparing suitable Sellers' nominations and confirm back to respective customers
  • Prepare daily Metering tickets, Joint tickets & Allocation statements for the send-out on previous gas day, co-ordinating with QMI Specialist and Transporter(s), as appropriate.
  • Track daily sales services to various customers and ensure timely circulation of the information to Marketing & Commercial team.
  • Provide support to Marketing & Commercial team on any issues to be co-ordinated with Operations team.
  • Assist in co-ordination with Port and Terminal team, at the time of cargo arrival- need based
  • Assist in timely customs clearance for LNG cargoes, after co-ordinating with Commercial Operations Manager- need based
  • Filing of all documents as required, as per company's Records Management Policy
  • Provide support in preparation of terminal shut down - during planned & unplanned events and consequently coordination with respective customers/transporters.
  • Monitoring of dead stock levels, tanks inventories, customer-specific inventories and coordination with respective customers for off take as per contractual requirement.
  • Support Invoice preparation process and submission of invoices to respective customers.
  • Preparation and submission of various reports to Internal and External stake holders as well as Regulatory / Govt. bodies as per M&C department requirement.
  • Support commercial team in monitoring financial/payment securities.
  • Update and maintain appropriate data in Fuel Management System (FMS) or any such systems / tools as required.
  • Timely coordination with vendor in case of changes/modification requirement w.r.t. FMS and co-ordination with IT for routine issues.- need based
  • Support M&C team for various Customer officials' visits, for terminal co-ordinations.

Skills & Experience

  • Engineering (Diploma), Preferred - Engineering Degree
  • Experience in Indian business environment in a technical/commercial role with moderate years experience
  • Good communications skill - both spoken and written
  • Should have aptitude for acquiring a basic understanding of the business
  • An appetite and ability to work hard and meet stretched targets, and working in a team.
  • Should have systematic approach to administer department documentation

  • Ability to learn quickly commercial & contractual issues
  • Awareness of Gas Industry and LNG value chain and its importance to the Business
  • Awareness of Gas Sales / Purchase or Transportation, service Agreements
  • Awareness to identify the main internal & external stakeholders for the role
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint

This is a permanent position.

The salary for this position is negotiable.
