Commercial Economist - Risk & Analysis - Interim Oil & Gas

International Oil & Gas company, based close to Victoria, London, is seeking an Economist, working within the Accounting & Finance function.

The role is for an interim period of 3 months and is due to start mid January ideally.

O&G industry is highly desirable


The successful Economist will be involved in the following duties/responsibilities:
* Produce and deliver economic, commercial and risk analysis of the organisations assets
* Active role in company planning processes
* Work closely with Business Development, Planning and Business Units to undertake the company strategy

Essential Skills:
* Recommended 2 - 5 year's experience
* A degree in numerically-oriented discipline
* Industry knowledge and experience - North Sea a particular advantage
* Demonstrable high-level skills in the economic analysis of the oil and gas business
* Ability to build strong working relationships with the business across different functions
* Excel and PowerPoint experience at an intermediate / advanced level

Desirable Skills:
* Experience of building, maintaining and using PEEP model and software
* Commercial experience in negotiations, support and/or activities
