Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Commercial Analyst, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities will include:
Perform modelling for annual business planning process, liaising with operational stakeholders to fully evaluate and present the asset story for management review and approval.
Provide modelling support for other operational teams, e.g. AFE approvals, evaluation of development scenarios and reserves reporting.
Support broader finance team in preparation of periodic asset life of field updates.
Provide modelling and general analytical support for business development screening activities.

Strong academic performance with an undergraduate degree in a discipline containing a high analytical component. E.g. engineering, sciences etc
Significant upstream oil and gas experience gained in a business planning, analysis or modelling type environment.
Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work to deadlines.
Knowledge of conventional upstream economic package a plus, e.g. Wood Mackenzie GEM, Palantir, Peep.
