The Accountancy and Finance team at The Orion Group are delighted to be working in exclusive and retained partnership with an exciting, growing and acquisitive business in Stirling. This is a newly created position, vital within the company's finance function. Supporting the finance team and wider business delivering key analysis into the company performance and financial results. You will be an excellent communicator and be able to influence, challenge and build relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analysing pricing processes for the Group
  • Identifying and quantifying hidden/unaccounted costs
  • Analysis of trends between quotes and orders won
  • Drive financial performance improvements through analysis and presenting findings to the business unit leaders and Board.
  • Production of margin analysis
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Improve the quality of the financial reports

Candidate Requirements

Suitable candidates will most likely be CIMA or ACCA qualified and have a genuine ability to identify issues, find root causes and propose improvements to subsequent processes. You will be able to analyse large quantities of data and present your findings to the Exec management team. You will be from a commercial background and have experience of analysing P+L's.
