Our client, an oil & gas operating company, are urgently recruiting for a Commercial Analyst to be based in Pau, France on a contract basis.

The position includes:

  • Perform cost analysis and benchmark of existing contract portfolio in order to contribute to the overall contract & procurement strategy prior to launching the Call for TENDER.
  • Assist during tender preparation phase for modeling of the remuneration schemes.
  • structure and visualize the performed commercial analysis into a contractual document i.e scope of work, remuneration scheme.
  • perform and deliver commercial analysis and recommendations based on detailed analysis of relevant tenders.
  • identify, analyze and recommendations to mitigate any commercial risks.
  • Prepare recommendation to award for the commercial part.
  • Other ad hoc tasks related to commercial analysis may be required.

Technical Requirements:

  • Higher degree within, finance, and/or economics
  • Analytical skills with excellent numerical and Excel abilities
  • Preferable background from an analysis role
  • Preferable experience working with oil & gas contracts (technical services contracts)
  • Commercial mind-set
  • Strong written and oral communication requirements in English. French is a plus.
  • Mobile. Travelling will be required.
