Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Commercial Analyst, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for calculating prices and verify charges with Buyers/Sellers for the purchase and sale of gas & LPGs.
* Manage the preparation and issue of revenue sales invoices as per contractual obligations to meet deadlines.
* Ensure follow-up of non-payment of invoices, using direct contact with customer to effect prompt payment to maintain cash flow, raising interest charges where applicable
* Issuing of Spot Contracts for the sale of Crude Oil to Third Praties
* Prepare, review and issue annual reconciliations for gas sales.
* Responsible for the compilation and issue of Monthly Revenue Report & PMMR Slides.
* Monthly processing of dry gas/raw gas invoices
* Collate and issue data to assist in PRT returns
* Responsible for maintaining the disputes register - Gas
* Provide cover for the Commercial Analyst - Liquids.
* Maintain accurate files and records for SOX, audit, accounts, tax and fiscal purposes

Experience & Qualifications:
* Graduate with relevant experience in a business environment
* Good working knowledge of gas sales contracts
* Ability to refer to, interpret and implement invoicing and compensation clauses in commercial contracts
* Good communication and analytical skills
