922383 - CMM Programmer

We are currently looking to recruit a CMM Programmer for a permanent position based in Rotherham

Main purpose of this role will be to perform calibrations on electrical items in accordance with company procedures

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Perform UKAS calibrations on electircal and a small number of mechanical items in accordance with company procedures as a UKAS approved signatory/ operator
  • Programming and operation of CMM
  • Perform in-house calibration on electrical and mechanical items in accordance with company procedures
  • Undertake the adjustment, service or repair of items to the level of ability
  • Validate the content and sign UKAS certificates as authorised by UKAS
  • Validate the content and sign in-house certificates as authorised
  • Use the preferred software in accordance with company procedures to ensure the correct processing of items through the laboratory
  • Liaise with customers to understand and satisfy their requirements in a professional manner
  • Liaise with customers and feedback to line manager with regards to all operational issues to enable effective and efficient service
  • Maintain organised and auditable systems of work including maintenance and calibration schedules to ensure traceability
  • Ability to demonostrate knowledge of calibration and communicate same with both colleagues and clients
  • Resolution of client enquiries in a timely and effective manner, including but not limited to investigation and resolution of non-conformances to ensure customer satisfaction


  • Proven track record of instrument calibration working to documented written procedures
  • Proven track record of developing processes to meet customer expectations
  • Proven track record of Rolls Royce CCP's and calibration quality systems
  • Knowledge of prevailing business activities within the oil, gas and chemicals sector
  • Knowledge of measurement and testing activities within the engineering sector
  • Knowledge of associtated laboratory processes
  • Relevant industry/ professional qualification

This is a permanent position
