Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Civil Engineer on a temporary basis. The position will be based in London. For further information about this position please apply.

Description of assignment including tasks and responsibilities:

  • Ensure Compliance with Company requirements
  • Respond to Contractors TQ's in due time
  • Review and comment on various technical drawings and documents in due time
  • Ensure quality deliverables from Contractors
  • Participate in meetings with Company management, contractors and partners
  • Follow-up on Geophysical & Geotechnical and Environmental surveys works
  • Review, interpret and comment of survey data delivered by Contractor
  • Review and comment on survey reports delivered by Contractor
  • Liaise with local communities, permitting, etc.,
  • Make recommendations for survey work optimization
  • Check survey quantities for Contractor's invoicing

Work related competencies:

  • BSc or MSc Degree in Civil Engineering and knowledge Geotechnics/Surveying
  • Experience from civil and structural engineering design follow-up
  • Familiar with the applicable British and International standards such as EC related to civil engineering
  • Familiar with geophysical & geotechnical and environmental survey techniques
