EPE Task Delivery Team

A design team has been set up at Sellafield Site to carry out tasks within HALES, HLWP, Magnox, THORP, SWEEP & Remediation. The tasks are across all these plants therefore the work is varied from Electrical distribution, Mechanical Handling and process Instrumentation.

Job Description:

* CE&I Engineer with the capabilities of undertaking the following tasks:

* Assisting the CE&I RE in task scoping and planning activities

* Production and checking of CE&I design drawings

* Schematics

* Hook-ups

* Loop drawings

* Gas

* Layouts etc

Production and Checking of CE&I documentation and contribute to multi-discipline design documentation, including:

* Basis of Design

* Functional Specification

* Technical Specification

* Cable Calculations (Not essential)

* Instrument Data Sheets

* Safety Systems Design Documentation (Not essential)

* OIMS

* CE&I Tie in Documentation

* Undertake and interpret plant surveys

* Contribute to Engineering, Assurance, HAZOP reviews

* Checking of CE&I design to confirm compliance against fictional requirements, customer requirements, legislative, regulatory and company policy standards and procedures e.g. safety, quality, risk, security

* Production of design packs for estimate and construction

* Production/update of plant operational and maintenance documentation. (proof tests, Maintenance Instructions & ARIs)

Essential Experience:

* Experience of design delivery in a highly regulated industry with specific experience in electrical distribution, hard wired control and/or process instrumentation.

* Knowledge of delivering against legislative, regulatory and company policy standards and procedures e.g. safety, quality, risk, security etc. as a minimum BS7671, Low voltage and EMC Regulations and CDM.

* Experience in writing technical documentation, including specifications, calculations and reports.

* Proactive approach, team player and ownership of the task.

* Ability to learn and develop new skills.

* monitored worker (desirable)

* Experience on any of the Plants mentioned (desirable).

Security Clearance:

* P4 pass holder (desirable)

* SC required DV (desirable).

Design Tools / Software:

Experience in the use of Auto-cad, Am-tech and other engineering tools (desirable)
