Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Category Lead, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities will include:
Focal point within the SCM&L team for all matters relating to Indirect Category contracting activities across Company operations.
Support the Head of SCML Transformation in the development and implementation of Supply Chain strategy to meet business functions needs
Lead implementation and ongoing management of global alliance and framework agreements
Set performance measures and strategic goals for each global agreement
Collate and interrogate functional demand to ensure consistency across the regions and engagement with the market
Monitor KPI's for Tier 1 suppliers and identify inconsistencies across regions
Consistently maintain market knowledge of category

Qualifications & Experience
Broad understanding of Category Management in the Indirects environment
Building strategic alignment across regions and functions in a matrix organisation
Experience of implementation of category management structures and contracting frameworks
Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change at all levels in an organisation
Master's Degree in Surveying/Engineering or equivalent with additional professional qualifications in SCM or related subjects
Extensive relevant international experience in the E&P industry
