Job Title: Buyer (Labour contracting)

Location: Bristol or Cardiff or Swansea

Background: This role plays a key part in a leading global multi-industrial company that specialise in building management, fire, security & HVAC.

Skills and experience: * Degree (or equivalent through experience) * CIPS qualified or working towards * 3-5 years experience as a buyer in a sub-contractor heavy environment * Knowledge of purchasing practises and relevant laws and regulations * Experience delivering cost targets without compromising quality

Job Description * Carry out procurement and supply chain processes as defined by group procedures. * Identify and source potential suppliers/subcontractors that meet our client's minimum standards. * Engage with project teams to drive procurement processes to maintain timescales. * Carry out tender returns: Evaluation, Negotiation, authorisations/approvals and place orders. * Identify potential opportunities for bundle procurement or other commercial opportunities. * Ensure orders are produced in line with Group and Local best practice and guidelines. * Participate in production, pre-start, supplier, post contract reviews, market intelligence and procurement meetings as appropriate.
