Our client's aim is to employ driven, passionate and ambitious individuals who can contribute to the success and accomplishments of the business and in return enjoy working within a company who have a keen focus on developing, retaining and rewarding their employees.

This position is home based and it will involve regular travel throughout Scotland, the local office is located in Edinburgh, where you will meet regularly with your colleagues and customers. This role would suit candidates from Edinburgh, Lothians, Glasgow, Stirling, Fife, Perth and Falkirk areas.

You will be an accomplished and pro-active Business Development professional. Using your contacts, sales skills and hard work you will identify, develop and close new contracts with end customers, intermediaries and consultants.

You will promote water and water recycling retail services and new connections, in conjunction with a comprehensive range of value adding services. From initial customer contact, you will own the sales process, ensuring high levels of customer service and consequently a high conversion rate from enquiry to order.

You will be able to work autonomously and as a key member of our team. By building close working relationships with customers and intermediaries, you will be responsible for providing advice to your customers regarding their water, water recycling, profile and behaviour; assisting them to maximise efficiency and minimise their water and wastewater bills. With previous experience in a commercial environment, the successful candidate will be educated to Degree level or equivalent relevant qualification and must have proven sales and account management experience. With the ability to build strong customer relationships, you will have extensive experience of securing sales and managing customers based over a large geographical area and be confident working at all levels of the supply chain.
