Assisting one of the worlds largest oil and gas producers make that energy transition into solar, an opportunity has been presented to develop a business stream in Solar PV for this operator based out of Italy. A staff role with enhanced prospects for those who come with a business development and commercial background building businesses in the EU/ Italian arena.

This role is open to fluent Italian speakers who have residency in Italy, preferrably within a commute of Milan.

Main activities

  • Support the units of the Direction in identifying and developing new opportunities, analyzing the possible mechanisms of access to the renewables market and contributing to the definition of the commercial and contractual aspects of new initiatives
  • Ensure the conduct of the assigned contractual activities and finalize the related agreements for the development of the initiatives of the Energy Solutions Department
  • Support the development of partnership agreements in connection with the other competent functions according to the objectives of the Energy Solutions Department
  • Contribute to the definition of business models and governance mechanisms for the implementation of new management initiatives
  • Check on request the preparation of documentation for participation in competitive tenders and the acquisition of licenses, authorizations and permits, monitoring the progress and timing and highlighting any critical issues
  • Monitor the evolution of local laws and regulations that may have an impact on the activities of the Energy Solutions Department, in liaison with the competent corporate departments
  • Manage and develop relationships with external and internal stakeholders


  • Minimum 7/8 years of experience in the energy world, in similar or similar activities to those described above
  • Educational qualification, preferably engineering or economics
  • Italian speaker with excellent knowledge of English, preferably also French

  • Supportare le unità della Direzione nell'identificazione e nello sviluppo di nuove opportunità, analizzando i possibili meccanismi di accesso al mercato delle rinnovabili e contribuendo alla definizione degli aspetti commerciali e contrattuali delle nuove iniziative
  • Assicurare la conduzione delle attività negoziali affidate e la finalizzazione dei relativi accordi per lo sviluppo delle iniziative della Direzione Energy Solutions
  • Supportare lo sviluppo di accordi partnership in collegamento con le altre funzioni competenti secondo gli obiettivi della Direzione Energy Solutions
  • Contribuire alla definizione di modelli di business e meccanismi di governance per l'implementazione delle nuove iniziative della Direzione
  • Verificare su richiesta la predisposizione della documentazione per la partecipazione a gare competitive e l'acquisizione di licenze, autorizzazioni e permessi, monitorandone lo svolgimento e la tempistica ed evidenziando eventuali criticità
  • Monitorare l'evoluzione delle normative e dei regolamenti locali che possono avere un impatto sulle attività della Direzione Energy Solutions, in collegamento con le competenti funzioni aziendali
  • Gestire e sviluppare le relazioni con stakeholder esterni ed interni
