Orion Group are recruiting for an Business Analyst - Senior on behalf of our Multinational Medical Device Client on an initial 6 month contract which is based in the Livingston Area.


Function & Responsibilities:

* Work within the existing Tattoo and/or MDR development teams, in partnership with internal clients, to meet business objectives and address issues as required.
* Work within the guidance of the company project manager or appointed Lead to participate in the design and development of applications.
* Work to improve the structure and efficiency and IT systems;
* Desirable development tool(s) and platform(s) are:
MS Visual Studio; .NET C#; Oracle & MS SQL Server; MS Access; SharePoint;
* Demonstrate proficiency in both back-end and user interface development;
* Meet with internal business partners to understanding their business working practices, define/clarify scope and requirements;
* Willing to undertake some travel to a client site, principally but not limited to Norderstedt, Germany.
* Understand GXP regulation and documentation.

Requirements:
* University degree in Information Technology (at least BA);
* 5-7 years strong technical background and excellent programming knowledge in .NET C#, MS Visual Studio, Oracle & MS SQL Server;
* Strong time management;
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills;
* Excellent communication skills;
* Flexible and dedicated attitude;
* Command of German language would be a benefit, but not mandatory.
